Weekend getaway? Speedy Creek

Hey, thought I would post this in here as there has been some talk and interest in maybe going to swift Current.
The link lists the race dates and times for Swift Current this year.
If a meet is something that you want to do or a bunch of us go out, then the SCDRA can get us free camping at another clubs campground facilities right next to the drag strip.

I have raced at SC and really enjoy it, they get the lines going through faster than at SIR by alot, meaning your doing your burnout before the other guys are off the track. They also prep the track with VHT on all race days and finally the first 200' of the track is concrete. No grooves to fall into.
They have top of the line timing equipment and last year just got some digital boards for everyone to see. It is a blast. Only downside is that you have to drive a mile or two of gravel, not bad going slow but your car will get dusty.

I'd so be very interested in going. The drive there and back would be fun, and we can stop at the Saskatchewan Landing for pics maybe a quick BBQ / firepit for lunch.

yeah if all that stuff about the track is true, that is worth the trip!

Its true and its a great change from SIR's slippery surface and Nazi tech guru's lol
