-40C HARD Starting

So it's been -40C here.... the cars been plugged in and i go out.. start it and runs for a second,, dies.. then it takes a few minutes of trying to get it to fire back up...

Finally catches, and idles fine... drive around coast alittle and rpm's are wacky..

All i got is the K&N CAI. I'v had no problems until now...

Also thinking on getting a huge CCA Deep Cycle battery for the extra juice... and maybe a battery blanket for the battery...

Suggestion please folks..
