H/E Water Pump?

Finally got around to putting in my laminovas the right way. Waiting for my Option B setup to eat some fluid and purge the air, I began to wonder:

How can I be sure the water pump is working?

At what temp does it turn on?

I want to make sure I have a working pump.

If you have option B when the car is running fluid should be shooting out the bleeder line into the tank.

Also would I be able to borrow your belt tensioner tool tomorrow?

ah shit. dead pump. ordered the ford racing M-8501-L54 in ebay, $100

yeah sure bro. that thing is awesome. saved me a tonne of grunting.

Did you let the temperature warm up?? If not the pump may not turn on right away, You can take your hpt and command it on with key on engine off.

yeah it saw IAT2s of 140...........le sigh. but it's my fault. i left the laminovas in backwards for too long.

Courtney that pulley tool is the shit, I can't believe I've been suffering though that stripped slippey hammer wrench on then skin knuckles bs for so long.

So I got my PM back from Mr Zooomer. I asked WTH is up with these pumps and how he fixes them. he said, they just clean them as they get dirty inside. So, I shall take mine apart when the new one comes........ He also said they don't sell the crank case filters like you have, which kinda sucks. But I guess I can find one easily enough on Jegs or something.
