New Star Trek

So im finally got the dvd version and im about to watch it.. So what did you think of the new version?

I liked how they kept specific things from the original, but modified nearly the whole story line so they could have more freedom without "trashing" the original.

Yeah, if you are talking about the movie and not the TV series with Scott Bakula, then I agree - very entertaining. They certainly had fun dropping inside jokes and gags, and I can't believe they found ayoung actor to play a young Kirk so well.

lol, he only got in four fistfights, that's not bad...

I thought that the movie was well done. New feeling enough but stuck to the old story lines which made it fit within all of the other Star Trek movies.

I would love to see it on Blue-ray. I imagine some of those scenes would look amazing!

I can't wait till the second one comes out! JJ Abrams does good work!
