Digital Cameras/Camrecorders

Over the next few months i'm going to be buying stuff so i need to know what I need for the club.

Im going to get Cobra 26km frs radios for 30.00 ( anyone want to go halfers with me )
Got a digital Cam but looking at getting a Camrecorder to mount into the car.
Anyone got other equipment or suggestions?

I have a Nikon dSLR camera and would love to get a camera mount for it made specifically for vehicles.. but they are big big money as they attach to the outside of the car and have to be super rigid and strong as you are trusting that mount with a $1k+ camera plus the lens lol
