WTB: SS 3" V-Band Clamp Assembly & SS Wideband Bung
Hey guys, don't know if anyone can help. My car is getting the exhaust welded up, and I am in need of two things:
1) Stainless Steel 3" V-Band Clamp assembly.
2) Stainless Steel 02 Bung.
The reason I'm posting is that P+ and WSSL have nothing of the sort in stock. So if anyone has something for me, I won't have to wait with my car in the shop while P+ orders it. If you have an idea of where to order this from, that's OK, cause if we can't get anything by Monday, we are ordering anyway...
Thanks guys!

Well, that didn't go well, haha. Just got a lecture that I shouldn't use stainless steel fittings. Also was told to go to some hose and reel place for a v-band clamp, and the guy there had no idea what that was, and sent me packing. Looks like I'll have to order the stuff anyway. Ah well, thanks for the offer to help.

oh sorry about that, the guy you delt with isn't really much of a help, he is ok but not the best. i thought to just give it a try and see what we can get, he just thinks he knows lots. but really doesn't but his own stuff he experienced. hope you find what you are looking for.

Haha yeah that's what I thought. Apparently if you screw things in and out alot, SS threads will not be nice to the sensor's threads. But, I don't plan on taking it out....well ever.denlou wrote:And why WOULDN'T you use stainless fittings?
