2.7" pulley on Stage II belt Empty 2.7" pulley on Stage II belt

Just curious, for posterity I grabbed a larger idler pulley for when I go down to the 2.7 pulley, is anyone else running this or was the exiting travel in the idler enough to keep the stgII belt tight at 2.7?

Second question ... is anyone running the boost by-pass mod here? I've seen so many mixed numbers and results including but not limited to dooms day events (depending on which method you use for the by-pass) that I've never entertained it ... any local type people running it with success (or have reasons to stay away from it?) ?

First the stage II belt works fine with the 2.7" and 2.6" pulleys with no slip. As for the boost bypass mod, don't do it if your tuned or getting tuned. Doing the bypass mod bypasses any boost control for first gear and with a 2.7" pulley, it is actually a drag to drive as it becomes completely and utterly useless to try and launch at any speed.

Exactly what I was looking for thanks man Smile the idler pulley was cheap so I figured better safe than sorry ... hey off topic kind of, when I come see you do you need my S/C pulley bolt bit? I still have the factory StageII bolts
