In order to remove the stock airbox without cutting it you need to drop the subframe. I just finally got around to pulling mine out. PITA. I PM'd Turbo Tim at ZZP as they are supposed to have gone into production of their 3" intake for RL, so when he gets back to me I'll let you guys know. The k&n is nice but mine almost has a hole though it from touching the inner fender well so I'm looking for a better build quality.

yeah i'm going to put mine in as soon as it comes it. but i need to find a place to do it cause it will be cold out side.

Well when Mike got out the sawzall to get the factory airbox out of my car I'll admit I was slightly concerned.

i finally put mine it, i took care of all the rubbing in any place it could by just cutting some of the plastic fender wall, and i cut out a piece of the mud guard under the car. so it should be good. i'm hoping.
